Falyn

Meet Falyn, the daughter of Ryan and Laura. This little cupcake was so precious, I could have taken pictures of her all day. The only thing she didn't like was laying on her belly. She wasn't a fan of that at all and I hate that because we didn't get to do the ruffly fanny pictures. We plan on getting them when she gets a little older. 

Notice how the picture is labeled "Enchanted Daydreams"? I have two different accounts that I use for my photography. Obscure allows me to let out my wild side of my photography and Enchanted is more of the "family friendly" type. You can click here to check it out. Three Shoots

I am currently editing three different shoots. The week I moved to Florence from Whitmire, I had a boudoir shoot, a newborn shoot, and a fun shoot. I'm just now getting caught up on everything since my home life is getting back to normal. This is a picture from the fun shoot. I will post more pictures as soon as I get finished with all the edits. I just want to thank everyone for their patience and being able to deal with me during my move. I will have everyone's orders mailed off by Thursday at the latest.

Enchanted Daydreams

I've learned that in life, you can never please everyone...especially if you are someone like me who is a little bit on the "not normal" side and have a thing for metal music, horror, and blood. :) Obscure Portraits and Designs is my main project. Actually, it is my favorite project because I get to think outside of the box and I get to meet people that do the same. A few years ago, I started up Enchanted Daydreams Photography when I was living in my hometown. I'm from a small town and being too open-minded will get you shunned. I created Enchanted Daydreams for all the "pretty" things, including weddings, children, couples, nature, etc. So please do me a great favor and check this out.

$50 - Sitting fee, high res originals and edits on disc, and not specific time frame.

$150 - Boudoir Session. High res originals and edits on disc, no specific time frame, up to 3 different outfits and hairstyles. Includes make up also.

Florence

This weekend I will be heading out to Florence, South Carolina. I'm super excited. I get to hang out with some awesome friends and get a feel of the area before I move there. I will be there for a week. I have a meeting with admissions at Kenneth Shuler on Wednesday about me attending school there. Everything is going in the right direction. I just hope it stays that way.

Boudoir Specials

The Beginning

Hi all. My name is Kristin and I am the owner of Obscure Portraits. I have worked with a few other companies but I felt like it was time for me to venture out on my own. A lot of events are about to take place and I figured that this blog would be a great way for me to capture what is happening.

Right now, I'm still in the process of getting name out there via social networks and working on getting a website built. On top of all this, I will start attending Kenneth Shuler on December 3rd in Florence. With that being said, I am also in the process of getting everything together to move before December rolls in. In case you were wondering, Kenneth Shuler is a school for cosmetology. Pursuing a career in hair and make-up has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl and I'm super excited about finally getting to fulfill that dream. I think that this will be a profession that I can incorporate into my photography. So that is my goal, to have glamorous shoots where I get to do the hair, make-up, and the photography.
